How are statistics and visitor traffic reported?

The advertiser can continuously follow his campaign through the Tailsweep system. All available statistics can be broken down to site level. This enables the advertiser to discover which sites are giving the highest return on investment.

Tailsweep supplies the following statistics:

  • Number of page impressions (PI)
  • Number of clicks

  • Number of unique visitors (UV)

  • CPM (Cost Per Mille)

The name Tailsweep refers to the theory of "The Long Tail", an expression invented in 2004 by Chris Anderson, Editor-in-Chief at the American publication Wired Magazine. The theory has great importance for Tailsweep.
